Kodi Exodus installation required a path. Open Kodi and Go to System > File Manager (Blue Gear icon) #3. Choose your device and download it accordingly. Another option is to connect your TV box to a computer via USB, and send the bootloader and firmware files over to the TV box, that way, using the USB Burning Tool. You can still save the device, but you will need to find a new firmware that also includes the bootloader files and try again. I don't think the two firmware linked above, include bootloader files (not sure), so if you erase the bootloader on the box, you'll end up with no bootloader, and a device that powers up to a black screen. If you erase it, and the new SD card firmware that you are installing does not have it's own bootloader, you will end up with a bricked, non starting device. Basically, it's the "MBOX" or "H96+" logo that you see when you power up your device. The bootloader holds the commands that tells android devices how to start up. Next thought, when using the card burner software to make the SD card, DO NOT check the "erase bootloader" box. Firmware #1 appears to be the original stock Android 6 Firmware, not Nougat. Thought I'd post my experience and thoughts on doing the upgrade, and maybe Peter can confirm.
